In 2006, Salvatori’s New Haven has grown beyond our wildest dreams. It has become popular with locals, travelers, businesses, and civic organizations alike. Who would have thought that a restaurant that seats 48 (yep, that’s it) would become such a hive of activity?

Offering dining, carryout, and catering six days per week, we often get very busy.

Grassroots Success

Salvatori’s opened the restaurant with simple plan, keep the customers coming back. With great food, a comfortable atmosphere, and personalized service, a steady crowd of diners grew. These regular few told their friends of the ‘gem’ that they had found, and business doubled. And then it happened again… Within a few years, a thriving little business was built. That’s when Ryan Duvall found us.

Food critic for the Fort Wayne Newspapers, Ryan Duvall not only gave a favorable review, but dare I say fell in love with the place. Not only did we receive acclaim in multiple categories, but Mr. Duvall was and still is a frequent diner.

Carryout and Large Portion

One aspect of the restaurant that has become immensely popular is our carryout business. People in the area have learned that most carryout orders can be prepared in 15-25 minutes. Open Kitchen Design

One of the interesting features of the New Haven location is the Open Kitchen layout. Out of the necessity of feeding thousands of people every week, the work area and dining room are interconnected. Rather than try to disguise this feature, we have embraced it.

Often times a kitchen is tucked away in the back. People are unable to see the true workings of a bustling kitchen – at Salvatori’s we invite you to check it out. From the day-to-day operation, to the making of the fresh dough, to the quality products we stock on the shelves… we are proud of our kitchen.
